Colin Wright Photography bio picture

Welcome!

Since I started photographing professionally in 2003, I have been dedicated to producing the most beautiful creative outdoor photography I can.  Finding the hand of God in images of His astounding creations is what I strive for with every image.

My primary focus is on photography practiced in the great outdoors, with my photographic interests also including aircraft, macro photography and elements of color, contrast, symmetry and reflection.

I am represented at Framations Art Gallery in St. Charles MO, where you can always see examples of my work hung on the walls.  Framations also hosts a video tour of some of my work, which can be seen here.

Fresh Art: Katy’s Light

Over the last few years, I’ve begun taking to seasons of cycling on the Katy Trail here in east central Missouri. One particular morning on the trail, the sun filtered through the canopy of trees, and I found myself facing a brilliant light show upon the trail. Katy’s Light is available through my online gallery,...

Fresh Art

For those folks that frequented the site a couple of years ago, you probably remember that I was trying to post new images weekly — a “photo of the week.” This is a great goal, but it’s also at once both limiting and obligatory, and I had trouble living up to it: too much life...

Welcome!

After over two years, it’s time to revamp the website — welcome to the new and improved site for Colin Wright Photography. The biggest change is the move from RapidWeaver to WordPress.  Both platforms are impressive, and well-suited to doing almost anything someone might need, but my other sites are based on WordPress, and it...
